A week ago i made a pledge to help pass an Act to protect our children from sexual predators. (Senate Bill 1738—The PROTECT Our Children Act)

….And then i realized today that i had only sent one e-mail to our senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson. I don’t think i did enough for those children.
About 2 months ago we had Zamar’s Little Give. It was a HUGE success!…With the help of all the good people around, we actually raised over $700.

Do you know your neighbors? If you think the threat of child molestation isn’t real, i dare you log onto this website and type your home or work address to see how many of your neighbors, or co-workers have been convicted of this crime. http://www.familywatchdog.us I found people living less that 5 miles away who were convicted of AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT with children as young as 4 years old….4 years old! Some even had multiple convictions. You will be able to see pictures of them, so you can also keep your eye out. One offender had four convictions in the same year…and one for actually possessing child pornographic materials!! Now imagine how many people have not been caught! How many babies and children are living a horror life to please sick individuals!
The time is now. We fight wars in other countries and we have our own wars here! Don’t ignore this one. This one is the MOST serious one! We need to pass this Act. Your US Senator will vote on this in less than a week, so please, i urge you to click here and help pressure them to vote yes. You don’t even have to type anything, just cut and paste the letter already written for you. It is the least we can do, as mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers…..we don’t get to pick the kind of life we are born into. Thank God for the life you have and help us get the resources we need to find these predators, preying on the most innocent of innocent! This isn’t political!!! It is our CHILDREN! They are our future!
